Need to break a group of people into fair teams? The Random Team Generator shuffles your list of participants and splits them into balanced teams in a single click.
How It Works
Paste participants one per line, or upload a file with the roster. Pick a split mode: by number of teams (set how many teams you want) or by team size (set how many people go on each team). The generator shuffles the list and assigns everyone to a team at random, so every participant has the same chance of landing on any of the teams.
When the roster doesn't divide evenly, you can decide what happens with the leftover participants. Distribute them across the existing teams, add them all to the last team, or put them into a separate smaller team. The result shows the lineup of each team, which you can announce to participants right away or save for later.
