Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 1, 2026

firstrandom.com is a free online collection of random generators - numbers, codes, dates, names, places, animals and more. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.

The site has no user accounts, no registration and no login. You do not need to provide any personal information to use it. This policy applies to the firstrandom.com website operated by the operator of firstrandom.com ("we", "us", "our").

What data we collect

We do not ask you for personal information, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or any data through forms or accounts. We do not run sign-up forms or profiles.

When you visit the site, some technical data is collected automatically, as it is for almost any website:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device information (such as operating system and screen size)
  • Approximate location (derived from the IP address, at country or city level)
  • Pages you visit on the site
  • Referring URLs (the page or source you came from)

This data is used to keep the site secure, understand general usage, and display advertising. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser.

For a full description of the cookies used and how to control them, please see our Cookie Policy.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display ads on this site. The following applies to advertising:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Google uses cookies for advertising, including the DoubleClick cookie and other Google advertising cookies.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You may also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

Analytics

We may use a web analytics service to understand how the site is used - for example, which pages are viewed and aggregated visitor statistics. Analytics data is processed in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.

Storage of recent results

To let you see your recent generations, the site stores a short history of your results. This works in two ways:

  • Server-side session history. When you generate a result, a small record of it is saved in a temporary session on our server. This session is linked to a session cookie stored in your browser. We keep only a limited number of recent results, and older entries are removed automatically. The session expires after a period of inactivity, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site.
  • On-device input lists. If you type or upload a list of items into a generator (for example, to pick a random item), that list is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It does not leave your device except when you click generate, is removed automatically after a limited time, and can be cleared instantly with the "Clear" button next to the list.

We do not use this history to identify you, and it is not linked to any account, because there are no accounts.

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interest - for basic technical data, security, and aggregated analytics needed to operate and improve the site.
  • Consent - for advertising and analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary. Where consent is required, it is requested through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw it at any time.

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent for cookies at any time

Because we do not collect names, emails, or account data, we usually cannot link the limited technical data to a specific individual. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the form on our Contact page.

Data retention

We retain only what is needed. Aggregated analytics data is kept for a limited period and does not identify you personally. We do not store personal data such as names or email addresses. Session-based recent results expire automatically as described above.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us through the Contact page and we will address it.

Third-party links

The site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Please review this page periodically for any changes.
